Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and includes 1 API, 1 data source, 3 endpoints, 7 days of request logs and a hosted MCP server. No credit card is required to use it.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can sign up and build on the Free plan without entering any payment details. A card is only needed if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
What data sources can I connect?
Seven: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Google Sheets, Excel Online and CSV upload. Every plan can connect any of them — the plans differ in how many sources you can connect at once.
What is the MCP server, and is it really included free?
It is a hosted Model Context Protocol server for your workspace, which turns every endpoint you publish into a tool that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI assistants can call. It is included on every plan, including Free.
What happens when I hit my plan limits?
Limits are enforced rather than billed for, so you are never charged unexpectedly. Requests beyond your per-minute rate limit are rejected until the window resets, and you cannot create more APIs, data sources or endpoints than your plan allows until you upgrade.
Can I write data through the API, or only read it?
The Free plan covers read endpoints. POST, PATCH and DELETE endpoints are available from the Starter plan upward, and are always bounded by what the credentials you connected with are permitted to do.
Can I cancel anytime, and what is the refund policy?
